The Falmouth Swamp Safari (also known as Charles Swaby's Swamp Safari or Falmouth Crocodile Farm) is a wetland nature reserve, set in 2 acres of the Trelawny mangroves. As the name suggests, the main feature of the attraction are the crocodiles, with over 80 specimens from over the island residing here. The Swamp Safari is also home to other indigenous and foreign species such as owls, snakes and iguanas. The attraction is run by Charles Swaby who also runs a large crocodile safari in Black River. You may recognise the Falmouth Swamp Safari from the James Bond film "Live and Let Die" as Kananga's crocodile farm. This was the location for the famous scene where James Bond (played by Roger Moore) escapes from certain doom by running across the backs of a line of crocodiles to safety. PLEASE NOTE: - 1.
